BMW X1 F48 / F49 (2015–2022) The second-generation BMW X1, codenamed F48 (LWB F49 for long-wheelbase markets), moved to a front-wheel-drive UKL1 platform while retaining a sporty character. Available in sDrive and xDrive configurations with 18i, 20i, 25i, 18d and 20d powertrains, plus the range-topping M35i. The F48 was BMW's entry-level crossover before being succeeded by the U11 X1 in 2022.
